A new grade of soft magnetic composites (SMC) Somaloy(R) has been introduced! It has significant evolutions, e.g. new insulation coating that is fundamentally different from previous versions. Please make use of it for various applications such as motor cores, reactor cores, etc. ■ New Grade Name Somaloy(R)700 7P ■ Overview - Somaloy(R) is soft magnetic composites coated with insulation on pure iron powder. - The new grade achieves lower iron loss than previous versions while maintaining high BH characteristics by improving its base pure iron powder and adopting a new insulation coating. - Other improvements: Higher resistance against heat aging test, lower CO2 emissions compared to previous grades. From June to the end of December 2025, you can download the introduction materials for the new grade and existing grades for free as a set.

"Curved Ferrite" is a material that directly combines ferrite with substrates such as copper foil and polyimide. Developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology using the aerosol deposition method. It achieves suppression of magnetic property degradation without the use of non-magnetic adhesives. The composition of the ferrite layer, the type of substrate, and the thickness of each layer can be widely selected. It also offers high freedom of shape, accommodating miniaturization of devices, and is expected to be applied in various uses such as electromagnetic wave shielding materials. 【Features】 ■ Binder-free, balancing the properties of the substrate and the magnetism of the ferrite ■ Wide selection of thicknesses for the substrate and ferrite ■ Contributes to the miniaturization of integrated circuits and electronic devices ■ Utilizes the aerosol deposition method that takes advantage of room temperature shock curing phenomena *For more details, please refer to the materials.
